They aren’t sales reps for any particular brand but rather assess your situation’s unique requirements and recommend the best solution for your company based on their experience. A great extension of their brand, MK Floors commercial flooring website brings together information & photography to present a unified company face
In late 2014, the company was taken over by a senior management team who brought us in to completely rebrand the business. This rebrand was designed to bring consistency and cohesion across MK Floors many branches and reposition the company at the top of their industry where they belong. The brand was rolled out across company collateral including both print and digital mediums, as well as guidelines for extras such as uniforms, vehicles and office fit-out. A detailed brand style guide ensures that the brand guidelines are followed consistently throughout the branches.
A very important part of this rebrand was a new website. A strong digital presence is essential for every business, but especially one as large as MK Floors. MK’s client base mainly consists of senior management in large organisations like universities, hospitals and hospitality venues. With this in mind, the brief for the site was corporate, approachable and easy to navigate.
A full width clickable slider on the first reveal contains imagery displaying the different market segments that MK Floors specialises in, as well as a call-to-action to find out more. Upon scrolling, secondary navigation directs visitors to the three main areas of the site – Products, Flooring Solutions and Market Segments. This makes it really easy for the user to find what they’re looking for without much effort on their part.
Another clever UX element is having the contact details for all the Australian branches on the homepage, keeping access to information simple. Call-to-action bars throughout the internal pages direct the visitor to contact their local branch and talk to a flooring expert.
MK Floors new site is a beautiful extension of their brand, bringing together information, photography and colour to present a unified and knowledgable face for the business.
