The flavour of any studio or work place is made up of something far greater than the sum of its parts. The magic element is often alluded to*. Some people draw on the idiom ‘well-oiled machine’ while others shoot for a more holistic approach like branches of a tree et al. Whatever your choice of phrase, a connection or tension between forces is what makes for a great workplace. We decided to ask a few key peeps in the DPM crew about three of their favorite songs in a hope that this would shed some light on an oft dark and mysterious topic**. The first person to bring us back all these songs on a cassette tape wins a prize. Either that or a poem with all the song titles in it.
