Unless you have been hiding under a very large rock the health food revolution of recent years should not have escaped your attention. The raw food movement is one of the latest food crazes to be championed by health enthusiasts around Sydney.

The whole premise around raw, is that food should not be senselessly robbed of its living enzymes in order to get the most out of the nutrients possible. This means that raw and living foods are unprocessed, unrefined, cold-pressed and never, ever, ever heated above 44 degrees.

Julie Mitsios is the owner, chef and provider of good vibes at Earth to Table. With an ethos that is centred on honouring our abundant world, the café supports local farmers, sustainable agriculture, uses environmentally friendly and organic products all while nourishing its customers. Earth to table is the embodiment of guilt free eating.

However, what we love most about the cafe is that this amazing mission never seems to sacrifice taste. This is especially true when it comes to Julie’s incredible and decadent raw cakes. With a surprisingly large menu of lip-smackingly good breakfast, lunch and beverage options, it is no surprise that Earth to Table has amassed a loyal following of both the healthy and the simply hungry.

So leave your cynicism at the door, order one of those suspiciously green smoothies, one of Julie’s incredible raw cakes and you will leave truly satisfied with a fresh outlook on eating.
