“I see a boundary, I eat a boundary and wash it down with a cup of hot steamin’ rules,” as the character Howard Moon proclaimed in cult TV show ‘The Mighty Boosh.’ We feel this quote is especially fitting when describing He Made She Made, a gallery in Sydney’s Darlinghurst that promotes experimentation and pushing artist capabilities.

Blending art with design, the gallery runs a rolling series of exhibitions anchored to a concept. Current exhibition, ‘Summer Daze‘ sees the gallery hand over a portion of the space to five creatives to showcase their artistic awesomeness. It’s the perfect time of year to do so as the area sees a sharp spike in visitors. It also will coincide with the launch of He Made She Made 2.0, something we’re equally intrigued and excited about.
We think it’s great to see a business that likes to test limitations and is not afraid of experimentation. In addition, it’s nice to see a business foster a community, which He Made She Made has certainly nailed on the head with their steadfast commitment to helping emerging artists, their openness to submissions and sense of collaboration, not only through artists working together but through merging different artistic mediums. Nice one, guys!
