If you’re an avid gardener or even just a hobbyist horticulturalist, you will know what a pleasure it is to have a lush, green garden, with moist, fresh undergrowth, gorgeous flowers in bloom, brushed overhead by sweeping boughs.
Glorious birds make their homes in it, raising their sweet singing younglings in it’s trees. Butterflies flit and flutter about, and smattering of ladybugs completes the picture book setting. We could go on, doesn’t it all sound just lovely?
For the branding we combined the symbol of a plant, to represent fauna, and a plus sign, to represent health care. We paired the logo with a clean font.
Maybe we could throw in a little wooden bench, and a few hopping bilbies (unfortunately in these parts Peter Rabbit is considered a pest).
Sometimes this can be much harder to achieve than we’d like.
Gardens, just like humans, can get stressed out.
Lawns in particular are hard to keep up in this Australian climate. Think about how you would feel if you were forced to lie out in the harsh sun all days of the week, getting water twice a day, early morning and night. Sometimes not at all when your health gets classified as a luxury. Feeling a bit stroppy? Anxious even?
Lawn Therapy is here to listen to you.
If you’re the kind of person whose passion for greenery is focused on your beautifully kept lawn, Lawn Therapy has the perfect service to make sure yours stays beautifully clean and green.
They only use fertilisers and spray products that won’t harm you or your pets (very important) and they can tailor their service to suit the kind of help you need.
Our brief was to simply and directly communicate their message.
We combined the symbol of a plant, to represent fauna, and a plus sign, to represent health care, which gets across the entire package that Lawn Therapy provides.
We used the most natural colours in the spectrum, green and brown, to surround the audience or potential customer with the Lawn Therapy world as soon as they come into contact with the brand.
We paired the logo with a clean font, with round, approachable letterforms. We also created a reversed out version of the logo, which meant that the versatile new brand could then be applied across a whole range of Lawn Therapy media.
We particularly loved the simplicity of this website; it really gets down to the roots of the product (haha, check it out and see what we mean).
