Mils Gallery

Next time you’re in Surry Hills with some time to spare, head to Mils Gallery. Located on Randle Street, this artist-run-initiative showcases contemporary and evocative art from both Australian and international artists. From contemporary thought-provoking sculptures that challenge ideals and art-making practice to beautiful and haunting photography, exhibitors are sourced or selected via a proposal process. Their next opening night is on November 14 with photographic exhibition “Aftermath” by Sydney based artist Manami Sunaga. The series depicts reality two years on in the worst affected areas of the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami. We’ll definitely be wanting to check it out.
