Pigeon is a cute little cafe located in Surry Hills. Set within a large courtyard in the St Margarets Complex on Bourke, with a multitude of obscure tables, old school chairs and plastic stools, it’s the perfect place to take a pit stop on your travels. This little hole-in-the-wall brews glorious coffee (we rate it), bakes brilliant-tasting food and are an all round friendly bunch. Their quirky branding, consisting of a whole lot of astroturf and a lone pigeon, elevates these feathered fowls position within the world, sending them soaring to all kinds of heights (see what we did there). They asked us to craft some business cards that would reflect their cool, laid-back vibe and organic approach to food. We designed the cards to do just that, utilizing a fresh typeface and and beautiful alignment to illustrate their eclectic aesthetic and already established brand identity. The card is a little peek into the humble beating heart of the company. The outcome is an effective portable representation of their business and a little something that pleases the eye (and stomach) of many a good food and coffee lover. If you like food and have a delicious idea for a business card, we would love to chat.
