Ever wanted to visit a glitter covered cave? Or drink gin from a lemonade can that has a sprinkling of nerds round the top? Maybe you’ve always wanted to buy some underpants from a vending machine? If that’s the case then your dreams have just come true. Tokyo Sing Song is a new bar that’s opened on King Street, down in a deep, dark basement. Trading four nights a week from 11pm it’s Newtown’s newest late night drinking hole/cave. We visited it just after it opened and it’s truly spectacular. Each month a new curator jumps on board to create some pretty magical performances and other kooky shows. It’s one of those places you just have to go to see what we mean.
Want to know more about this little piece of Tokyo in Sydney? Head to the Facebook page to see what’s going on, but really, just go there. It certainly won’t be dull.
