We’re not necessarily talking about the state you’re in after a few special beverages, but you might be like that after a run-in with Trolley’d – Sydney’s first sustainable mobile bar service. Using disused Ansett Airline trolleys, Trolley’d serves Sydney cocktails using natural and organic produce – some of it even foraged by the Trolley’d team themselves. Trolley’d provides a fun alternative in Sydney’s bar and hospitality scene that not only has novelty value but really highlights what can be achieved when you think outside the box. The results themselves are tasty and inventive liquid treats. The Trolley’d team cart their trolleys to various functions and events and even have different trolleys and drinks to suit the mood and budget. There’s a stirred drink trolley, a carnival punch trolley and even a beer trolley holding 3 x 19 litre kegs – now that would certainly liven up a party. Us here at IYBI love this interesting business idea, which combines a solid sustainable element that uses natural ingredients (right down to the cordial) and makes use of something that would otherwise be collecting dust. It’s important for businesses to really consider sustainability and to not underestimate it’s importance. With a DJ trolley to be included into the repertoire, the Trolley’d party is only just getting started.
Thirsty? Get yourself onto the Trolley’d website to learn more about what events they cover or to make an enquiry. If you’re more into Facebook they have plenty of information on their about the events they are covering and what cocktails they’re whipping up – filled with plenty of airline puns of course. Their Instagram gives you a really good sticky beak into the life of the Trolley’d team.
