Here at IYBI, we’ve never had the chance to travel to West Africa. After seeing the bright and bold prints of the fabric used by YEVU clothing, we really want to go now and experience the vibrancy of the marketplaces there for ourselves. For now though, we’ll be checking out YEVU clothing, a new Sydney-based brand created to connect the wearer with the West African marketplaces these fun fabrics were sourced. We’re keen on it because it’s an ethically produced range, made in Ghana in collaboration with local seamstresses and businesses. Skirts, caps, bomber jackets all in popping colours and matching prints will be available to buy online from January 2014 – perfect for the Sydney summer.

Want to see the full range? Head to the YEVU Tumblr and have a look. Keep in the loop with all the latest by following YEVU on Instagram.
